The City of Lilburn is a Gwinnett County neighborhood located along I-85 (just north of the top perimeter of I-285). High schools in Lilburn include Berkmar High School, Parkview High School, and Meadow Creek High School.
Lilburn primarily has single-family homes and townhomes in many established neighborhoods mixed in with newer developments from the 1990’s and 2000’s. Overall, Lilburn is a very residential area with shopping centers located along it’s major roads such as Lawrenceville Highway.
With its location in Gwinnett County, Lilburn is also home to many parks and in close proximity to Stone Mountain Park. The city also offers a small downtown area with shops and restaurants and does have its share of community festivals. Two of the popular festivals include Lilburn Daze and the annual Christmas Parade. In 2011, CNN Money recognized Lilburn as one of the top 100 places to live in the United States.
